Marvel boss teases MCU solo series we’ve been begging for

In aninterviewwith Collider,Marvel’s TV boss Brad Winderbaum revealed that there’s one character in particular that he’s desperate to bring to the small screen - none other than Ghost Rider.

“I would wanna do the Danny Ketch era of Ghost Rider,” Winderbaum revealed.

“I think there are a lot of people who would be here for some Ghost Rider,” he added, and he makes a stellar point.

The character has had a few close scrapes with the MCU.

Back in August, concept art was released revealing that Nicolas Cage’s take on the character was originallysupposed to cameo inDeadpool & Wolverine.

Cage’sGhost Riderfilm launched all the way back in 2007 and was, of course, not a part of theMCU.

ButDeadpool & Wolverinethrew its cameo net wide. It wouldn’t have been a total shock to see Cage’s Johnny Blaze appear.

Agatha All Alonghas just premiered on Disney Plus. Take a look at the show’s trailer below.

If you’re a fan of the Robbie Reyes iteration of Ghost Rider, you may have enjoyed Gabriel Luna’s take on the character inAgents of Shield.

Once a part of the MCU,Agents of Shieldis now treated as somewhat non-canon.

I say somewhat because technically the show is canon but in later seasons, it was retconned as taking place in an alternative timeline.

Projects likeDaredevil: Born Againprove that Marvel is willing to explore darker projects, so I’d love to see a gritty take on Ghost Rider make it into the MCU.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
