Marvel bringing another MCU Avenger back from the dead, actor teases

Marvel might be bringing a popular character back from the dead in the MCU, an actor teases.

I think it’s fair to say that when it comes toMarvelmovies from Sony that have noDisneyinvolvement, they haven’t shared a great deal of success compared to the MCU offerings. The likes ofMorbius,Madame Weband more recently,Kraven the Hunterhave all bombed at the box office.

Check out the Kraven the Hunter trailer below!

Kraven the Hunteropened up with a measly $26 million at the global box office for its open weekend, according toScreen Daily.

What’s more, it also flopped in terms of critical reception with a lowly Rotten Tomatoesscoreof just 15% from critics. However, it does currently have a user score of 73%, indicating thatKraven the Hunteris perhaps an acquired taste.

So you may be pleased to know that Sony is seemingly done with itsawful Spider-Man spin-off movies. Other than the exceptionalSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,Across the Spider-Verseand hopefully, the upcomingBeyond the Spider-Versemovies, Sony has scored continuous own goals.

That being said, the star ofKraven the Hunter, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, has suggested that he’s not quite done with Marvel movies just yet. But you might be pleased to know that a Marvel character he speaks of is for theMCUand not the Sony productions.

The character in question is Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver, who first briefly appeared in 2014’sCaptain America: The Winter Soldier, before playing a bigger role inAvengers: Age of Ultronthe following year.

Johnson answered with a mischievous grin “Well, maybe not everything’s out there,” teasing that perhaps discussions have taken place behind the scenes that Marvel fans are not aware of.

Of course, the apparent tease from the actor could mean absolutely nothing and he could simply be teasing fans. Only he and Marvel chiefs would know for sure. I guess we’ll just have to wait to see how events play out.

Kraven the Hunteris out now in cinemas worldwide.
