According to the recent report,Marvelexecutives considered these back-up plans after Majors was arrested earlier this year. Despite Majors’ Kang originally set to be MCU’s main villain for the next several years, the executives are not opposed to completely ditching the actor in order to make way for another. “They haven’t had an opportunity to rewrite until very recently [because of the Writers Guild of America strike]. But I don’t see a path to how they move forward with him,” explained one source in the Variety report.

Kang’s replacement would come in the shape of Marvel Comics’ greatest villain: Doctor Doom, according to Marvel president Kevin Feige. As this is only an idea as of now, we are unsure who will be taking on the role of the formidable villain but it will be exciting to see one of his calibre joining the fray. Either way, it will be interesting to see how Kang is written out of the MCU after recently appearing inLokiandAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
