The launch of the film timed nicely with Marvel’s San Diego Comic Con panel which saw thereturn of Robert Downey Jrto the franchise announced.
This time though, the actor won’t portray Iron Man.
Nope. He’ll be playing the villainous Doctor Doom who’ll replace Kang as the big bad in the retitledAvengers: Doomsday.

It’s an announcement that’s been met with both hype and caution but at least the MCU is being discussed.
For so long, it’s been brushed under the carpet but you can perhaps understand why.
The Multiverse Saga has failed to grab the attention of the fans in the same way that The Infinity Saga did.

So too though will it see a new Falcon emerge. With Sam leaving the mantle open, a new face is stepping into the role.
I say ‘new’ but I should really say familiar.
It appears that Danny Ramirez’s Joaquin Torres is our new Falcon.
This isn’t a total shock if you’ve been keeping an eye onBrave New World’s trailers and, of course, the events were set in motion in the aforementionedThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

emiss not to mention that Torres also assumes the mantle in the comics - and yet despite its expectedness, this is a progression that fans are excited to see unfold on the big screen.
