WandaVision, arguably Marvel’s best Disney+ series so far, originally had 10 episodes planned before one was cut.

But apparently we could have had more, as while the show aired with nine episodes there were originally supposed to be 10.

The show’s creator Jac Schaefferconfirmedin an interview that ‘WandaVision’ was originally 10 [episodes], then, for logistical, budget, and creative reasons, we combined two episodes."

“There was a lot of experimentation going on and sort of trying different things out. We also at one point had 10 episodes planned and we ended up collapsing a couple, you know just to make the rhythm feel a little bit better."

It’s unknown where the extra episode was supposed to air, but with Shakman alluding to it changing the way the finale played out it would have likely fallen into those last three episodes.

Other aspects of the show were cut as well, including a cameo from Doctor Strange which would have tied into the battle between the two characters inDoctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness.

Regardless WandaVision is still an excellent show, and it’s seemingly gettinganother sequel in the form of VisionQuestwhen it eventually releases, as the story will follow the new, white Vision as he presumably attempts to regain more of his memories/personality.

Hopefully we see Wanda and Vision reunited one day, as the couple deserve their happy ending after all they’ve been through.
