It’s fair to say that the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Multiverse Saga has been struggling.
It’s not as if The Multiverse Saga has been wholly bad, it just feels a tad lacklustre compared to The Infinity Saga.
I don’t think Kang is anywhere near as strong of a villain as Thanos.

He could’ve been, had Marvel bosses teased out and built up his reveal but between the defeats of the Kang variants in bothLokiandAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, this ‘formidable’ foe already feels relatively underwhelming.
Of course, we’re also drawing towards the end of the second phase of this saga and we’re yet to see anything in the way of an Avengers team-up.
I do feel as if change is coming though.
Kang hasreportedly been scrappedas a villain following accusations made against actor Jonathan Majors, and the highly anticipatedDeadpool & Wolverineis on the way which has been teased to have “universe-sized” stakes.

Let’s not forget thatMarvelis also returning to Hall H at this year’s San Diego Comic Con for the first major panel in years that’s certain to be jam-packed with reveals.
Could it be that Marvel has ridden out this rocky patch?
They might have fans back on board, and this latest Kevin Feige tease is only going to help secure that.

For years and years, fans have been desperately awaiting the arrival of the X-Men in the MCU.

Previously, Ms. Marvel acquired mutant powers and, of course,Deadpool & Wolverinewill see Hugh Jackman’s version of that latter titular character be made canon in the MCU.
That signifies that the X-Men exist in this universe and yet, we’re yet to get anything in the way of a major reveal pertaining to this.
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige is holding his cards close to his chest but in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly when asked about the arrival of the X-Men, Feigesaid, “July 26 is really when it all starts, whenDeadpool & Wolverinecomes out.”

I want to draw your attention back to what I said about Marvel returning to Hall H at SDCC.
In the past, the Marvel Studios panel has run on the penultimate day of the convention.
This year’s event runs from 25 to 28 July, which suggests the panel will be held on 27 July - one day after the release ofDeadpool & Wolverine.
