
Marvel Rivalsmay have only been out for two weeks but it is safe to say that the superhero-based PvP shooter is the most popular on the market already.
Released on 5 December as a collaboration between developers NetEase andMarvelGames,Marvel Rivalsis a third-person hero shooter that features up to 33 of our favourite superheroes (and villains).

With many more to be added, this is just the beginning ofMarvel Rivals’journey and with the game recently celebrating 20 million players logging in, it is going from strength to strength.

“We are thrilled to announce that 20 million players have joinedMarvel Rivals! Our gratitude for each of you is immense!” the official Twitter accountannounced.
Alongside this announcement, NetEase has revealed that it will be adding a free download to the game which will be available from 20 December onwards.
Although only featured in the game as its narrator so far, Galacta has already made quite the impression so this will be the perfect way to celebrate her continued support.

As the daughter of Galactus (very inventive child’s name), this may be a hint to her being added to the roster in the future or if not, making some sort of appearance in theMarvel Cinematic Universe.
In otherMarvel Rivalsnews, it will soon be celebrating its Winter Event titled ‘Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival’.
Theupdatewill feature a Jeff-onlySplatoon-like 5v5 mode as well as themed skins for Jeff, Venom, Groot, Rocket Raccoon and Magik.
The Jeff skin is available for free but the others will be available in the in-game store.

The event kicks off on 20 December and will run until 9 January.
