Marvel and Disney have been quiet on any decision that may or may not have been made, but entertainment insider DanielRPK claims via a paywalled Patreon that Marvel Studios has “officially” found a replacement to play Kang the Conqueror.

At this time, we should take all unconfirmed rumours with a pinch of salt, but this rumour will no doubt result in heavy speculation as to who will take up the role of the MCU’s next big villain. However, one name that we canmayberule out is John Boyega, who apparently has no interest in playing Kang the Conqueror.

Could we see the new Kang the Conqueror in a post-credit scene inDeadpool & Wolverine, a movie released in cinemas this week which has a major focus on multiverses? Only time will tell.

It’s probably unlikely that the new Kang the Conqueror reveal will happen so soon, and perhaps a more likely scenario could beCaptain America: Brave New Worldwhich arrives in cinemas on 14 February 2025.
