With over 27,000 comics currently in the Marvel Universe (yep, you read that right), one of its latest volumes brings back an old character… and then takes them away again in quite the brutal fashion.
TheScarlet Witch#1comicwas just released on 12 June and already has fans talking. Following the story of, as you guessed it, Scarlet Witch aka Wanda Maximoff, the first volume in the series is already off to a good start.

Despite this solo appearance, he managed to create quite the impression when he saved a woman called Joan Winters from committing suicide. He then went on to investigate a series of supernatural occurrences before disappearing from the Marvel Universe. That was until now.

It seems as though Mantor the Magician has spent the last few years being an employee at Wanda’s Emporium as an appraiser of occult items.
It’s a short but sweet reintroduction to Mantor but it is interesting to see an old character nonetheless.
