
With the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in disarray in recent months, a new report has revealed that Marvel executives are ready to pull out the big guns which may just mean the return of the original Avengers’ lineup.
Despite an influx of content in recent years with multiple spin offs, shows and movies, reports have shown that the MCU is still bleeding money sinceAvengers: Endgamewas released in 2019. As the conclusion of MCU’s Infinity Saga,Endgamewas quite literally the end game and saw many of our favourite superheroes meet their demise, including Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow and Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man.

As well as bleeding money, the MCU has received complaints in recent years, especially for their use of VFX. This was seen with the release ofWandaVisionandShe-Hulkwhich left a lot to be desired with its special effects. However, as a result of exhaustive 14-hour days, many Marvel VFX workers voted unanimously to unionise in September of this year.
