Hittingcinemason 14 February,Brave New Worldis the next entry in the Captain America saga where Mackie will now relinquish his role as Falcon to become the next shield-slinging superhero.
However, with the role of Falcon up for grabs, fans were wondering who would now step up to the plate.
Luckily, we now know afterMarvelquietly recast the role.

This means that Torres will be donning the wings and taking to the skies alongside Mackie’s Captain America in the upcoming movie.
With the President pushing for the return of the Avengers and formidable new villains appearing on the scene, Sam will need all the help he can get.
So far, we have seen Torres appear in a handful of scenes in the trailer forCaptain America: Brave New World- after debuting inFalcon and the Winter Solider- but it is still unclear how much of an impact he will have.
Either way, with Sam Wilson being such a beloved character in the MCU, Ramirez has some big shoes (and wings) to fill.
