It is hard to believe that it has almost been a year sinceMarvel’s Bladewas first announced.

First announced during 2023’s The Game Awards,Marvel’s Bladeis an upcoming title stemming from a collaboration between Arkane Studios,BethesdaandXbox.

Arriving alongside a short debut trailer, it is based on theMarvelComicscharacter Blade and features an original narrative that draws from the comic book lore.
Arkane Studios, who has previously worked onDishonouredandDeathloop,said the following about the upcoming title.
“InMarvel’s Blade, Eric Brooks is the legendary Daywalker, half-man, half-vampire torn between the warm society of the living and the rushing power of the undead.
From Bethesda and Arkane Lyon, the studio that brought youDishonoredandDeathloop,Marvel’s Bladeis a mature, single-player, third-person game set in the heart of Paris, now in development in collaboration with Marvel Games.”

However, as mentioned, there has been hardly any information about the title since December of last year.
That is until now.
The art depicts all of the characters who have previously featured in Arkane’s titles but in the back-left part of the image, we can see the man himself.

Wearing his familiar glasses and rocking some vampire fangs, this is the first time we have seen Arkane’s Blade since the teaser trailer.
Now for the bad news.
Despite his appearance, there was no other mention ofMarvel’s Bladeso we are still none the wiser as to when we can expect this highly-anticipated game.
However, at least we now know that Arkane hasn’t given up on him.
