We’re used to seeing Tony Stark looking polished, his high-tech Iron Man suit indicative of not only his knowledge but wealth as well.
However, this new Iron Man is more… improvised.
In this new chapter in the hero’s journey, award-winning journalist and writer, Spencer Ackerma, will make his Marvel debut.

According to the synopsis, this suit is “assembled throughout the series as Tony does what he does best — tinkering and upgrading it to counter anything the world throws at him.”

It isn’t just his aesthetic that’s getting an upgrade – or maybe we should say downgrade? - it’s also the man himself.
“He’s a lot angrier than he used to be. Iron Man is going to war! He’s determined to never hit rock bottom again,” the outline continues.

This stripped back Steampunk-esque era of Iron Man will be available to fans from 23 October.
