The very first glimpse of Marvel’s new Black Panther sequel for the MCU has broken an unfortunate record that it most certainly did not want.

The 85 Years of Marvel trailer gave us teases of upcoming projects such asThunderbolt, andCaptain America: New World Orderand even seemingly hinted at the prospect of theAgent Carterseries being revived.

The trailer also gave us a quick first glimpse (2:09 minutes in) of the new live-action series coming toDisneyPlus,Ironheartwhich was first announced during Disney Investor Day in 2020.Ironheartwill serve as a sequel to the 2022 movie,Black Panther: Wakanda Foreverand will star Dominique Throne as Riri Williams.
Riri Williams made her debut inMarvel Comics Invincible Iron Man #7in 2016 and followingWakanda Forever, many fans are eager to see how Riri will succeed in a series in which she stars in the leading role.
BehindIronheart,Avengers: Endgameis in second place with its filming starting in April 2017 to its first trailer released in December 2018, a 20-month gap.Avengers: Endgamewould later be released in April 2019.

Ironheartdoes not have a confirmed release date at the time of writing, but it is expected to launch on Disney Plus sometime in late 2025.
