
Astro Botis the gift that keeps giving, as we’ve now been blessed with more free DLC that includes characters from Marvel’s Spider-Man.
The Astro franchise has been on an interesting journey since it debuted as a series of free mini-games withThe Playroomfor thePlayStation4 in 2013. We were then treated to another free game in 2016 withThe Playroom VR.

In 2018, the series introduced its first paid game,Astro Bot Rescue Mission, anotherPSVRentry. At this point, all of the Astro games were fantastic, including the free titles with the series improving with every new release.

The series upped the ante withAstro’s Playroom, a freePlayStation 5platforming game that I’m guessing many would have happily paid for, it was that good. Seriously, if you own a PS5 and have never played this delight, you need to change that ASAP, you won’t regret it (plus, it’s an easy Platinum).

One of the joys ofAstro Botis the fantastic PlayStation cameos including the likes of Kratos and Atreus from God of War, Ellie and Joel from The Last of Us, Nathan Drake from Uncharted, and many more.

In the latest free DLC forAstro Bot, not only does it include a charming free Christmas level but we also get some new PlayStation mascot cameos with Peter Parker and Miles Morales from Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man series. But more importantly, it also includes Spider-Cat!
To claim the latest free DLC forAstro Bot, you simply have to update the game, which may have already been downloaded if updates can be activated while your console is in sleep mode. If not, it will automatically download the next time you fire up the game with an internet connection.
