Marvel’s Spider-Man 2has finally swung its way onto the PlayStation 5, but one fan put the webhead on an Xbox Series X, literally.

However, one Xbox fan decided to take the opportunity to do something remarkable and made a gorgeous Spider-Man-themed Xbox Series X, despite the new game being incompatible with the console.
The fan shared their beautiful creation on Reddit, with a posttitled: “Spider-Man 2ready.” The design is basically a normal Xbox Series X but painted red in some areas, and with a white Spider-Man logo. The finished product makes the black parts of the console look like the Venom symbiote, slowly taking over the red parts of Spidey’s costume. It truly is a work of art.
Fans were both confused and alarmed at the heretical sight that lay before them, with many joking that Sony would arrive any minute to destroy the Xbox that shouldn’t exist.
“Sony wants to know your location," said one, while another added, “My lord is that legal?" One jokey comment read, “Ah yes, BoxStation 5X.”

Maybe in another timeline where Xbox got toInsomniac Gamesbefore PlayStation did, this is exactly what we would have gotten to celebrate the new game’s release.
In other news, fans are already wondering what’ll come next for Insomniac’s Marvel game universe. TheWolverine gameis the developer’s next big release, though it’s apparently been toying with the idea ofmore Spider-Man spinoffs, as well as plans for athird game.
