Mass Effect 5: Epsilon teaser roasted by fans

It’s no secret that a new Mass Effect is in the works.

Colloquially, we’re calling itMass Effect5as it’ll be the fifth game in the series but I should stress that it’ll followMass Effect 3, more so than spin-offAndromeda.

Over the last couple of years, developerBioWarehas been dropping a series of cryptic hints about the game, usually to coincide with N7 Day on 7 November.

One such teaser was titled ‘Epsilon’ and although it’s been available for quite some time now, it’s one that’s still baffling and irritating fans.

I did tell you such clues were cryptic.

Fans have spent months with their thinking caps on trying to get to the bottom of this one.

Oculon continued to show the masked person walking down the hallway while Nebula showed the individual turning around, gun in hand.

Unfortunately, they are masked but it appears to be a female figure wearing an N7 uniform.

Considering that fans have to wait 12 months between N7 days to receive another clue, they’re growing tired of those clues being crumbs.

“What the hell even is this? I’ve seen some teasey teaser-trailers in my life but a zoom-in on the feet of someone walking down a hallway for five seconds really takes the cake. Truly nothing of value gained with that video,” Reddit user December_Flamewrote.

“Bro this teaser has no substance,”addedspacejunk20.

Things could soon change.Dragon Age: The Veilguardis set to launch later this year and when that happens, BioWare will be able to shift manpower over toMass Effect 5.

I wouldn’t expect this year’s N7 Day to reveal too much, although patterns suggest we will get a new teaser, so as not to detract fromThe Veilguard’s launch, but next year?

It could soon be the Mass Effect franchise’s time to re-enter the spotlight.
