The only solace that we can really take when it comes to the highly anticipated arrival of the nextMass Effect, is that nowDragon Age: The Veilguardis out of the way, the sci-fi RPG should be BioWare’s next big release. Only time will tell.

However, a previousreportfrom VGC claims that the next Mass Effect won’t be released until 2029. If that proves to be true, it would mean that the RPG would have been released eight years after its initial reveal, which would put it well intoThe Elder Scrolls VIrelease date territory.

It’s fair to assume that the next-gen console might be two or three years away at this point with both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S releasing during late 2020.

Hopefully, EA and BioWare will provide new details on the next Mass Effect in the coming months but I wouldn’t recommend holding your breath waiting for that to happen anytime soon.
