Mass Effect fans seriously hyped over gorgeous new trailer

A gorgeous new trailer has dropped and it’s one for fans of the Mass Effect series.

WhenBioWarereleasedMass Effectin 2007, it instantly became a classic in the sci-fi RPG genre - and the studio hasn’t looked back ever since. Now fans are eagerly awaitingMass Effect 5, whenever that game may arrive.

Mass Effect 5(which isn’t its official title) was announced duringThe Game Awardsin 2020 but since that time, we’ve heard very little about the game. It’s probably safe to assume that four years later,Mass Effect 5could end up being anew-gen titleat this point.

So, what can we do to pass the time? We could of course replay the original Mass Effect trilogy, especially as there are multiple ways that your story could play out.

What’s more, we could also check out Mass Effect-inspired games such asExodusfrom Archetype Entertainment starring Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey. A new cinematic trailer has dropped forExodusand you can see why fans are dubbing it as a Mass Effect spiritual successor.

“Having fled a dying Earth, humanity has found a new home in a hostile galaxy. Here, we are the underdogs, fighting our final battle for survival. You are the Traveler, humanity’s last hope,” reads the synopsis ofExodus.

It’s hard to say at this point whetherExoduswill reach the standards of the Mass Effect series, especially as it’s not set to be released until 2026. That being said, it will most likely arrive beforeMass Effect 5and at least from a cinematic story-telling perspective, it appears to be off to a good start.
