
The Mass Effect series is one of the most beloved in the sci-fi RPG genre and for good reason. It’s a fantastic series with a level of replay value that most rivals can only dream of. It’s why to this day, nearly 20 years after its original release, fans still cannot get enough.
The originalMass Effectwas released in 2007 for theXbox360 before making its way to other platforms. In the years that followed, it spawned three more sequels (includingMass EffectAndromeda) with a fifth mainline entry on the way.

However, despite being announced atThe Game Awardsin 2020, neither its developerBioWarenor publisherElectronic Artsis yet to announce a release date forMass Effect 5. Some fear that it might not bereleased until the next generation.

Luckily for us fans, the Mass Effect series has enough replay value to have us coming back year after year and with the launch ofMass EffectLegendary Editionin 2021, we can enjoy improved versions of the original trilogy complete with all previously released DLC.
That being said, despite being originally released in 2007, there’s a ‘shifty’ enemy in the game that you’ve likely never encountered before. Though to be fair, for this enemy to get “shifty”, you technically have to take the first steps to becoming the enemy and instigator.

Yet, when it respawns, as with most shifty cows, it will follow you. However, in an act of justifiable revenge, if you turn your back on Shifty Looking Cow, it will proceed to steal your credits.
If there’s a lesson to be learned here, it’s that you should not shoot NPCs for no good reason, otherwise, you may pay for it, quite literally in this instance.Mass Effect Legendary Editionis out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
