In this document, we can see that several of the big cameosDeadpool & Wolverinehas become known for, were hidden behindStranger Thingscharacter names.

It makes a lot of sense as Shawn Levy, director ofDeadpool & Wolverine, is an executive producer onStranger Things.

His production company is a big part of the Netflix smash hit and he’s even directed some episodes of the show.

This little nugget of information was discussedover on Reddit, where fans were both shocked and impressed.

To be fair, once you read through the pages, it’s pretty clear to see which character was hidden behind each name.

I’m not sure which other Marvel characters would “burst into flames,” but it’s a lovely touch.

One user points out, “‘Loads his arms mission impossible style’ […] doesn’t leave much up to the imagination.”

This, of course, refers to the scene inMission Impossible - Falloutwhere Cavill shakes his muscles out, appearing as if he’s ‘reloading’ his strength.

It makes you wonder which other films have used cute codenames in this way. Perhaps we’ll get more if Levy returns forDeadpool 4.
