On Reddit, one fan posted a threadsaying exactly that and explained, “I can think of so many episodes I would love to see.”

“Rest it for now and bring it back afterSecret Wars,”saysJajaloo.

The idea could be that Marvel will rest the show, for now, as they attempt to wrap up this phase and deal with the heroes and villains before the X-Men debut.

This seems to be a sentiment that many are hoping for.

“The creators said that this current iteration is ending, which means there’s a very high chance that it’s gonna return,”mentionsone comment.

Rogillogot stuck right inwith their thoughts, “They’ve been putting out incredibly boring, badly written episodes. I’m glad they’re ending it, so I don’t have to waste any more time watching it thinking they will put out something good.”

What If…?has been a divisive show, with many lamenting the quality of the writing, though it still has fans who dipped in for some banger outings.

Perhaps Marvel will use the time to focus on other animated projects and we’ll see a new and revitalised version of this in the next phase.
