Looks like Steve Rogers’ time is up in the MCU.
When we last saw Rogers, he was an old man, happy to give up his shield to enjoy the quiet life.
We’d say his rest is well earned.

In theCaptain America: Brave New Worldtrailer, there’s a brief clip of a military funeral. Given Rogers’ past, fans believe this “solemn military funeral” is to mark his passing.

Fans aren’t certain it’s Rogers in the coffin, however, they agree that his should be a peaceful send-off.
“Him passing away peacefully and having a quiet ceremony before the show starts makes the most sense to me,”saidGenGaara25.
Others believe the funeral can’t be for Rogers because it isn’t big enough. Plus, a certain someone is missing from the crowd.

As much as Chris Evans needs a break from that character, he’s become the face of theMCU. Second only to Robert Downey Jr, and he’s coming back anyway.
If this is how we learn of Rogers’ death, we’ll definitely need a box of tissues at the ready.
