According to social media user @AlexFromCC, Dr Hank McCoy will star inAvengers: Doomsday.
Naturally, such a rumour, even without an official backing, has X-Men fans hyped.
The future looks bright for Marvel Studios.

Despite many unfairly hating onThe Marvels, it seems that it wasn’t a waste of time after all.
Now that another X-Men character has been rumoured to join theMCU– remember, Wolverine has officially joined due toDeadpool & Wolverine– fans are curious if other fan-favourites will return too.
We doubt anyone needs to be reminded, but Marvel’s Kevin Feige has spoken about howSecret Warswill help usher in a “new age of mutants”.

If true, that means thatDoomsdaycould be packed full of familiar, and new, faces.
This is a cause for celebration among fans who have been too scared to dream such a day would come.
“We’re getting comic accurate Fox X-Men and it will be glorious,” remarked jorgecavos. “Just praying the elder statesmen can stay healthy for the next few years (and longer) to partake.”

Not all is well in the MCU though.
While everything appears to be running smoothly for the big blockbusters of the next phase, a nowcancelled show is being mourned. For fans, “so much potential” has been lost.
That being said, there are some losses that inevitably come from such change.
