MCU’s Ghost Rider quietly teased, brace yourselves

As one of the more beloved antiheroes on the Marvel roster, Ghost Rider is still yet to debut in the MCU, either on TV or in film.

Fans have eagerly awaited the Spirit of Vengeance for many years and while his appearance has been teased a few times, we seem to be one step closer to seeingGhost Ridermake a debut.

This is according to industry leaker,MyTimeToShine, who commented recently that the plan is to bring the character to Disney+ in his own show.

This would make some sense given he’s not as big a name as others who have had their own films, plus it would build the character before putting him into a team, like Midnight Sons, which has been a long-rumoured project.

However, I can imagine it would be an expensive project given the special effects needed for Ghost Rider’s flaming skull and chain weapon.

While a version of Ghost Rider - Robbie Reyes - was used inAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the character hasn’t made anMCUshowing yet.

Whether Marvel opts to use Robbie, or the more known Johnny Blaze, is hard to say.

My hope is that this news turns out to be true andMarvelembraces the character for TV.

The comics plot lines would play out much better on the small screen and give Marvel a chance to use him occasionally in films, without him taking centre stage.
