Metal Gear Solid 4 remaster teased, will finally be playable outside of PS3

WithMetal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1now out in the world, fans of the much-loved stealth video game are already turning their attention to the future of the series. Luckily for them, unearthed evidence shows that aMaster Gear Solid 4remaster may be on the cards.

This week welcomed theMetal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The remaster modernises Konami’s 1998Metal Gearalongside its sequel ​​Metal Gear 2: Solid Snakeand it seems the same treatment may be given to later instalments in the franchise.

According to one Reddit user, there are references to a remastered version ofMetal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots,Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, andMetal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Painin thePClauncher for the collection’s version ofMetal Gear Solid 2.
