Minecrafthas been given an exciting new update that adds a creepy twist to its open-world exploration.
I’ve got to be honest, I haven’t properly playedMinecraftin years so with the amount of updates that have been added since, I feel like playing it now but be like that stock image of the old lady using the computer.
You best believe I’ll be getting a ticket theMinecraft Moviethough, to see all of its weird and wacky wonderfulness.

The latest update adds a new biome to explore called The Pale Garden, which is basically a forest that looks decayed and dying makingMinecraftfeel like survival horror game akin to the opening toSilent Hill 2 (2024).
They’re stick-men that pretty much act like the Weeping Angels fromDoctor Who, in the sense they can only move when unobserved.

Minecrafthas dabbled in spooks and scares before, like Endermen being creepy Slenderman-like enemies and, of course, there’s the Warden who was added in a recent update as well.
This new update though seemingly pushes the horror to new heights, and it’ll be interesting to see what else gets added as the game continues to evolve.
