Mortal Kombat 1’s outrageously bad Switch port has fans demanding refunds

Those who have purchasedMortal Kombat 1on Nintendo Switch have reportedly begun demanding refunds, citing the game’s shocking graphics as the reason why.

The Switch version is without a Metacritic score for the time being, as only one review has been submitted. Nintendo Life rated the game a very poor 40 though,saying, “There are frame rate issues, big resolution dips, input and timing problems related to performance drops, missing content, game-breaking bugs in Invasion mode, long loading times, and unresponsive menus.”

Yikes. I’m sure you’ve seen several screenshots on social media of the game in action. We shouldn’t laugh, but it is pretty funny. The characters certainly have that ‘dead behind the eyes’ kind of a look. “TheMKSwitch version is disrespectful,”wroteone fan on Twitter. “Awwww hell no. It seems as if that’s what many are doing. “They made sure not to show us this game running on Switch before launch,”notedone fan. It remains unknown if players are actually succeeding in securing refunds. Let’s hope for a better situation whenHogwarts Legacylaunches on the console in november, although I won’t hold my breath.
