VDC declared the lawsuit to be “bullying tactics” as well as “ill-advised and meritless”, believing the lawsuit to be an attempt to “undermine the MrBeast Burger brand and terminate his existing contractual obligations without cause.”
Now though, the VDC is responding with its own lawsuit, and its a big one. The company is demanding $100 million, with the suit claiming “This case is about a social media celebrity who believes his fame means that his word does not matter, that the facts do not matter, and that he can renege and breach his contractual obligations without consequence … He is mistaken.”
