Sure you can tell that this isn’t a AAA remake, but the car model looks awesome, the world looks good, and perhaps above all else, it looks like it handles really well and it sounds fantastic too. It must also be stated that this playable demo will not be made public, to avoid menacing letters fromEAlawyers to theindiedeveloper.
In all honesty, watching the above gameplay above, just makes me wish that Electronic Arts will give us at the very least, remasters of other classicNeed for Speedentries.

Thankfully, however, there does appear to be a small glimmer of hope, at least. Back in July 2023, a voice actor that worked onNeed for Speed: Most Wanted(2005) may haveaccidentally revealedthat an official remake is on the way. Obviously until proven otherwise, we should take that speculation with a pinch of salt.
As for the immediate future,Need for Speed Unboundis out now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. What’s more, it is also available via the EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription services.
