Season 2 ofSquid Gamecould be coming out sooner than you’d think, as its release has been narrowed down to sometime later in the year.

We know very littleabout Season 2apart from what wasshown in the trailerand teased at the end of the first season.
After the game had been won, protagonist Seong Gi-hun received their cash prize but was changed on a fundamental level after all the death and torment he’d endured.
As for when the second season will drop, it’s unfortunately a mystery, though thanks to a recent investor’s meeting from Netflix, the release date can be narrowed down.

It was said that the second season ofSquid Game, as well as the sixth season ofCobra Kai, will reportedly debut sometime towards the end of 2024, with any luck.
Now that’s not the exact release date fans will be hoping for but it’s better than nothing, and judging from some of the clips shown in the trailer it looks like it’ll be well-worth the wait.
Hopefully it’s just as successful as the first season, and depending on what happens, it could very well leave the door open for a third season, maybe even a spin-off.
