As detailed inCBR’s exclusive sneak peak, the fan-favourite Wookie Kelnacca is getting their own comic series that’s debuting on September 4th this year.

Cavan Scott, who is best know for his work on theStar Wars: Vader’s Castlecomics and theDoctor Whocomic/book tie-in series, will be taking up writing duties for the seriesStar Wars: The Acolyte - Kelnacca.
Marika Cresta will be working on the interior art for the series too, hot off the back of their work on theStar Wars: Doctor Aphraseries that finished earlier this year.

Wayseekers have been mostly underexplored since they were introduced to theStar Warscanon back in 2021 inThe High Republic: Into the Darknovel, so we’ll have to wait until September to find out exactly what Disney have in store the series' future.
