It’s always nice to hear that yet another treat has landed on Nintendo Switch Online, especially when that addition doesn’t require an extended Expansion Pack subscription.
Nintendo SwitchOnline is easily one of the cheapest gaming subscription services out there, granting you three months access for just £6.99 or 12 months access for just £17.99.

As of late, we’ve seen many such gems locked behind the ‘Expansion Pack’ subscription tier which costs a pricier £34.99 a year.
I’m happy to say though that regular ol’ Nintendo Switch Online has just received a lovelyZeldaaddition that subscribers can pick up now for a limited time, no Expansion Pack subscription required.
Sadly no, it’s not a full game but you can now pick up some delightfulThe Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Pastprofile icons.

In order to unlock these icons from this beloved SNES classic, you simply need to boot up the game on your Nintendo Switch - which is, of course, included in your Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

There’s no set time you have to play for, simply loading the game up will do. The profile icons will then be available in your Nintendo Rewards for 10 Platinum Points each.
You do have to somewhat jump through hoops to bag this download but if you’re a longtime Zelda fan, it’s oh so worth it. Just look at that retro art.
You only have until 3 June to complete these steps so act sooner rather than later.
