Well, now we know. The Famicom Detective Club is set to be revived with the upcomingEmio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club.
I said another mystery emerges because, yes, while we may now know what the teaser was … teasing … the game will task us with putting our sleuthing hats on.
If you’re not familiar with the Famicom Detective Club, I could hardly blame you.

The series comes from famed developer Yoshio Sakamoto who later gained greater success withMetroidbut that doesn’t mean we should overlook the Famicom Detective Club.
The first two instalments were released only in Japan, so it’s exceptionally exciting that the upcomingEmio - The Smiling Manwill bring the franchise to new audiences.

You assume the role of an assistant private investigator, tasked with helping solve the crime which matches an unsolved string of murders that took place 18 years ago.

The game is receiving both a physical and digital launch with on-screen text available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
Do note though that the voiceover is in Japanese only.
