Nintendo has officially announced a Super Mario-themed Nintendo Switch OLED, and it’s absolutely gorgeous.
If you tuned into theMarioWonderNintendo Direct today, you were in for a treat, as the new platformer looks absolutely incredible.

Boasting a brand-new art style for the series,Mario Wonderwill introduce a huge variety of new game mechanics and content to the series. Players will be able to choose their own character from Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toads, Daisy, Yoshi, and even Nabbit, as they traverse wonderful new environments and stomp all-new enemies.

Levels also contain the occasional Wonder Flower which transform those levels in a number of wacky ways, like changing the player’s perspective and shifting the screen.
New power-ups were also showcased, including a closer look at the gang’s elephant forms, the Bubble Flower which traps enemies in bubbles, and a new drill power-up that helps your character reach new areas. We still have a question that’s been left unanswered though… What’s underneath Elephant Mario’s gloves? Can elephant’s have fingers?
If you stuck around to the very end of the presentation,Nintendodropped another surprise, a brand-new Nintendo Switch OLED, themed around the game company’s beloved mascot. Sporting a bright red colour scheme, it looks gorgeous and even holds some cute little secrets.
It’s got a little silhouette of Mario hidden away on the side, and when you open the back to reveal where the various wires get plugged in, you’ll find an assortment of gold coins printed on the back, now isn’t that lovely?

Martinet’s replacement hasn’t been officially announced as of yet. Don’t worry though, it’s definitely not Chris Pratt, but you have to admit it’d be hilarious if it was.
