A successor to the Nintendo Switch still hasn’t been announced, although Nintendo could do with debuting a reveal soon.
Every time I think the rumour mill simply cannot intensify, it does.
The internet is rife with glimpses at the console’s supposed specs, components, and appearance.

And given the mounting evidence, it’s likely that there are a few glimmers of truth in what we’re seeing.
It’s inNintendo’s best interest to put a stop to the speculation, unveiling the console in its full glory.
In the meantime, I have yet another rumour to fill you in on.

Rather than specs though, this one concerns a potential title launching on the console in the coming years.
Rather unexpectedly, it appears as if we may finally be receiving a sequel to 2015’s Wii U titleXenoblade Chronicles X.
Pokémon Legends Z-Ais one game that’ll definitely be launching on both the Nintendo Switch and its successor.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Editionis something that’s definitely coming, launching on 20 March.
I imagine his thought process was “Why else would Nintendo be suddenly releasing a Definitive Edition of the game after 10 years?”, and while I see the logic in that line of thinking, I want to urge you to take all of this with a large pinch of salt.
There’s no concrete proof to support this theory - simply methodical speculation.

IfXenoblade Chronicles X2does exist, and that’s a big hefty if, it likely won’t be launching for another couple of years.
Xenoblade launches are typically spaced two to three years apart, soX2certainly wouldn’t land the same year as the already confirmedXenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition.
As I said though, this is all airing very much on the speculative side so if you are a Xenoblade fan, I’d simply cross your fingers instead of investing too much stock in this one.
