However, it is now time for its upgraded replacement and with itsleaked specssounding like an absolute dream, it is no wonder that Nintendo fans are eager to get it into their hands.
Nintendo is yet to officially unveil the Nintendo Switch 2 but that hasn’t stopped leakers from doing what they do best and more recently, they have given us our first look at the new-and-improved Joy-Cons.
Showing up on Bilibili, three somewhat blurry photographs of the black and white Joy-Cons were posted and to be honest, they do not look much different from their predecessors.
Featuring the standard analogue sticks, screenshot button, home button and d-pad, there is not much difference at all.

However, with the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons being notorious for drifting over its seven-year lifespan, potential customers are hoping that this problem has been rectified for the next model.
The screenshots were shared across social media with one Twitter accountpostingthem to their page.
What followed was a range of thoughts from Nintendo fans.
“Eight years to improve them and they did this?” one unimpressed user wrote.

Another shared the same view when they said: “They look 3D printed, which while not impossible that Nintendo uses cheap plastic for just a prototype, idk.”
However, it is worth taking these images with a pinch of salt and with Nintendo expected to officially unveil the Nintendo Switch 2 in the new year, we don’t have long to wait to find out anyway.
