What’s perhaps even more exciting is the matter of which platforms the game will launch on. Yes, it is of course set to release onNintendo Switch, but there may be an interesting tidbit hidden in the way The Pokémon Company phrased this. Theywrote, “Pokémon Legends Z-A, an ambitious new entry to the Pokémon video game series, will launch on Nintendo Switch systems in 2025.”

“Systems”, plural. It looks as ifLegends Z-Amay launch on both the current Nintendo Switch and its upcoming successor, colloquially referred to as the Nintendo Switch 2. It’s been rumoured for quite some time now that Nintendo’s next console is on its way. It was originally believed to drop later this year, but word is that it’ll now land in early 2025. The question is: When will the lid finally be lifted on this exciting development?
