Nintendo looks set to make big plans for the launch of its next console which should give us all a big sigh of relief.
Scalpers, we hate them. Whether it’s a new console or a limited edition item, you can bet that most will use sophisticated software thatgobbles up all the stockbefore we’ve even had a chance to reach the checkout basket, to then be sold for egregious prices.

We’ve seen it countless times and more recently with the gorgeous limited edition 30th anniversary PlayStation 5console. Scalpers even tried it with that standard PS5 Pro console but due to stock being plenty, they’ve been forced todrastically lowerprices.

WhileNintendohas announced the Switch successor intypical fashion, we don’t know the exact date of when it will be released. We can only assume at this time that it will be launched at some point in 2025.
A report claims that Nintendo hopes to shift roughly two-and-a-half times more units than the Nintendo Switch sold in 2017.
While this should be positive news, it can’t be entirely ruled out that bot software will still gobble up Nintendo Switch 2 stock, no matter how many will be produced. Sure, this could result in scalpers losing profits if they struggle to shift stock but I’d rather not give them any money, even for a fraction of the price.

Hopefully, Nintendo will have enough Switch 2 stock to go around so that we can all buy the next console from the official sellers.
