In the report, Brazil specifically mentions that this shift to remasters is to ensure that players on Nintendo Switch have a batch of new games to play while Nintendo moves their focus.

On the list are titles such asDriverandDriver 2, as well asSplinter Cell: Blacklist, both fromUbisoft.
Ubisoft, a frequent collaborator with Nintendo will also overseeRayman 3and two unreported titles.
EA will be focusing on “more games from the Wii”, while Bandai Namco is reportedly heading up remastering some PS3 classics that will likely be multiformat.
While this may excite Nintendo fans, it’s worth noting that this change doesn’t mean the Switch 2 is any closer.
