A new week is upon us, and let us hope it’s one that finally brings a reveal of the Nintendo Switch’s successor.
The internet is rife with rumours and supposed leaks, to the point where it’s hard to know what to believe.
We seemingly received our first look at theNintendo Switch2 last week when accessories producer Genki unveiled their Switch 2 cases at the CES convention.

Themodel used, well, looked a lot like aNintendoSwitch, albeit a bit larger.
Just when we think we’re getting somewhere, it’s back to square one.
And yet, we soldier on because today I have yet another rumour to share with you, this one concerning the console’s price.

Pokémon Legends Z-Ais one title that’s definitely launching in Nintendo Switch systems this year.
This latest tidbit comes from someone who supposedly works at French retailer Micromania, with the information shared to Discord via user DoNotDisturb and Twitterviauser Switch2Stock.
The intel claims that “the prices we see on the net are wrong,” with the supposed Micromania employee claiming that the console will cost €399 “unless Nintendo changes anything at the last minute”.

They further added, “We received a list of 25 provisional games, with prices ranging from €69 to €79. The list of games is coded, and I can confirm that the price of the Nintendo Switch Online will increase.”
Apparently, “everything is already ready for pre-orders,” with the employee also teasing “the first Nintendo exclusive” which’ll seemingly launch with some kind of limited edition variation.
The user went on to expand on that exclusive, adding that it’s “going to be on another GALAXY OR maybe on a road with lots of COLORS”.
A new Mario Kart then, as expected.

Of course, I have to urge you to take all of this with a hefty pinch of salt.
As much as this all sounds plausible, that also means it could be a clout-grabbing clutch at straws.
With the rumours this rampant, I should think that Nintendo will have to lift the lid on this console soon.
