So, it comes as a pleasant surprise to many that theleaked pricefor the Nintendo Switch 2 is sitting at $400.
The price came from a reputable leaker who had previously mentioned the launch date and price of the PlayStation 5 Pro and was spot on.
This lends some weight to the leak, however, as with all rumours we suggest taking it with a pinch of salt.

It’s worth noting, though, that the price point of $400 was well received.
A big part of the initial rumour was the idea that Nintendo would drop two versions of the console.
This is likely a standard OLED version and a Lite - though a Lite version usually comes a couple of years into the lifecycle - it could also just be different colours.

This had fans speculating and commenting on what they would be happy to pay for.
“Hopefully that means we can get a more powerful version with OLED at launch, I’m definitely willing to pay a bit more for the best hardware they have,”saidbird720.
Another user wonderson what will be in the box, “I could see them doing a box without any of the extras,” perhaps going the route of Apple and not including things we already have.
Of course, we’re awaiting Nintendo for official word on any of this, which will hopefully be soon.
