I pray that Nintendo finally announces and shows off the Nintendo Switch 2 early in 2025, we desperately need to know more about the console.
Fans are hearing reports and rumours from all over the place and starting to find them less than reliable. All we want is official word fromNintendo.

One report hassurfaced on Redditover the past few days that details a Switch 2 launch for March 2025, which feels a bit too soon.

Fans aren’t convinced. Coming from an Italian website, the console is rumoured to be launching very soon.
This comes from a “very reliable source in the sector” and most fans arecalling“bulls**t”.
“March 28th is just days before the end of their fiscal year, isn’t it? In fact, it’s a Friday so it would be the last or second to last business day of their fiscal year. Feels like a placeholder date, even if realistic,”saidKevinT_XY.
Another user questions this “source”saying, “Why would this ‘very reliable source’ choose uagna.it as the publication to leak this information to? Why not something with more readers?”

While Nintendo could be looking for a swift turnaround after the announcement, it seems unlikely they’d spring the launch on players.
This wouldn’t give consumers very long to save money or budget accordingly.

Sadly, we’re still in the position of waiting until Nintendo is good and ready to show off the system.
Only then will we get to see a price, date, and hopefully, some games.
Until then, it’s more rumours and reported leaks. The only thing we know for certain is that a console is coming.
