Players will adventure through a vast and ruined kingdom of insects and heroes, battling bizarre bugs and navigating twisting and dangerous caverns. Drawn in a beautiful 2D style,Hollow Knightwill go down in history as one of the best platformers of all time.

So much so that its long-awaited sequel,Hollow Knight: Silksong, which was first announced way back in 2019 still shows no signs of being released. Becoming something of a meme and myth online, it may be a while until we see the highly-anticipated sequel.

With many believing adding it to the Nintendo Switch shop just before the Summer Game Fest is a bit of a coincidence, we could still be donning our clown wig and being in for a night of disappointment.
