Nintendo Switchupdates are usually a time of excitement, mainly because every time one appears fans get their hopes up thinking this is finally the one that’ll ad home-screen customisation.
Unfortunately that’s never the case, and it certainly isn’t now either as the new update does, nothing?
It’s just some general stability fixes apparently, which means it can swiftly be added to the pile of disappointing system updates.
Sometimes the updates are decent, like the one that added Bluetooth compatibility, but updates worth a damn are far too infrequent for Nintendo’s main console.

This could imply that a reveal is indeed on the way and it’ll show off that backwards compatibility in action, but obviously take this with a grain of salt as it might not be the case.
Either way the latest Nintendo Switch firmware update is live and worth downloading for any fixes it might bring, but it seems more and more clear that the current Nintendo console is nearing the end of its life.
