Your Nintendo Switch is about to get a big dose of nostalgia thanks to a new re-release of a classic PC game coming next month.

If you’re like me and grew up playing video games instead of doing homework, there are probably plenty of games that give you fond memories.

Depending on when you grew up, this could be anything fromSuper Mario Worldand Policenauts toHalo 3.

Better yet, theNintendo Switchlibrary is a carnival of classic retro games you might hold very fond memories of. Classic games like Super Mario 64 and Castlevania come to mind as retro games that now reach a wider audience thanks to the Switch.

Here’s a taste of other retro games available on the Switch!

Now, if the Switch wasn’t already one of the best consoles ever, Atari is bringing RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic to the platform next month. Which means I’m in danger of spending another tenner on this game.

The game had you complete a series of scenarios in which you could build rides and stalls to attract visitors to your parks.

The game was especially memorable for its guest system, in which every single park visitor had their own name, likes and dislikes, and overall mood metres for you to keep them happy. If guests weren’t too happy, they’d offer feedback to help you improve the park.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is an enhanced version of this, bundling the first two games together with some new quality-of-life features while keeping the experience as close to the original as possible.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is out for Nintendo Switch on 5th December, 2024.
