If the TV seriesShogunhas left you craving some more samurai action thenCodename Redshould scratch that itch as it’s set to take players to Feudal Japan.
The game will reportedly star a female shinobi and a male samurai, with the samurai possibly based on the real life figure of Yasuke.

Team NINJA are gearing up for the imminent release ofRise of the Ronintoo, set in 19th century Japan.
I somewhat digress but the point is that this year’sCodename Redcouldn’t be coming out at a better time.
We’re all itching to hear more about it, something that’ll presumably happen at this year’sUbisoftForward in several months time.
It’s assumedCodename Redwill land in the final few months of the year but if you can’t wait that long to enjoy someAssassin’s Creedaction, allow me to impart a recommendation.
