There have been many fan favourite RPG video games over the years, perhaps way too many to mention from franchises such as Baldur’s Gate, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, The Elder Scrolls and much more.

“Once a young boy has obtained a gift for his sister’s birthday, bandits attack his home village of Oakvale,” reads the synopsis of the game. “A member of the Hero’s Guild, Maze, stumbles upon the boy, saves him and takes the boy to the Guild to be raised as a hero.”

On Reddit, fans have been sharing their appreciation for theFablegame that was released nearly 20 years ago. “The originalFablehad one of the greatest atmospheres,”saidRedditor extraterrestrialsoul kicking off the discussion on the thread.

“I knowFableisn’t a perfect game, but I love the vibe/mediaeval setting. The art direction makes it stand out from every other RPG,” they continued. “I think the quirky/magical soundtrack also plays a big part in it. The game has so much charm. I really hope they don’t mess up the newFablegame because the original has a special place in my heart.”
“The originalFableis one of my favourite Western RPGs. The area with the arena is my favourite,” replied RedXIII1888. “I absolutely agree, the original had this fairytale vibe that was irresistible. At the time of writing this article, the newFablegame does not have a release date, but we do know that it will be released on PC and Xbox Series X|S. What’s more, with it being a Microsoft first-party title, it will also launch day one on Xbox Game Pass.
