In this day and age inclusion is important in just about every form of entertainment, whether it be TV series’, movies, video games and more. It’s always nice to find a well-developed character relatable to you in some way.
Whatever we may or may not think aboutBlizzard Entertainment’sOverwatch series, characters such as Baptiste, Lifeweaver, Pharah, Soldier 76 and Tracer have led the way in LGBTQIA characters, and now a new character joins those ranks with the series’ firstnon-binaryhero.

In response to the tweet, aTwitterfollower asked what Venture’s pronouns are, to which Ana Martínez replied: “Venture’s pronouns are they/them.” Venture is Canaidan and is said to be a “swashbuckling archeologist,” with lead concept artist Darly Tan saying that the character has an “unquenchable thirst for past treasures and hidden secrets.”
