If there’s one quest that unites all gamers, it’s the goal of attempting to make it through our backlogs. Let’s be honest. They’ll remain undefeated until the end of time. You complete one game and four more have replaced it. You may as well succumb and add a few more to the pile - and if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, I have just the thing for you. Although there is a time limit....
If you’ve not been paying for PlayStation Plus in a while, this is a really great time to come back to it. PlayStation and Xbox users can grab a free download right now, although it might not be the most exciting freebie you’ve ever gotten your hands on. Whether you subscribe toPlayStation PlusorXbox Game Pass, there are tons of awesome free games available via both subscription services right now. Personally I’d recommend checking out the brilliantInscryption, or the endlessly replayableRogue Legacy 2. Of course it’s worth pointing out that the free games available via these services do require you to play an actual subscription fee....
PC video game mods can be a wonderful thing. They can add new modes, improve graphics and gameplay, and in some cases, completely change the game, quite literally. This mod is so good that I’m totally jealous that it will never come to PC. So what does the Zen mod bring to the table? Well, as it happens, it changes the game quite a lot and arguably in the best way possible....
Everyone who’s seen it will tell you the same thing -Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verseis simply phenomenal. Its loveable characters, engaging story, banging soundtrack and jaw-dropping visuals make for a stunning experience - I’ve genuinely not stopped thinking about it for weeks.Inhis review, GAMINGbible’s very own Ewan Moore was also full of praise for thefilm, and noted that it’s “quite possibly the most visually stunning movie I’ve ever seen”. He wrote: “Sure,Avatar 2treated us to photorealistic computer generated water and little blue fellas running around, but the level of ambition, attention, and sheer creativity on display inSpidey’s latest adventureis dizzying....
Hype forStarfieldhas switched into maximum overdrive at this point, but the overwhelming excitement for the game has also got fans rather concerned that it won’t meet expectations when it actually releases. We’ve unfortunately seen it happen time and time again - especially in recent years. This year alone,Redfall,ForspokenandThe Lord of the Rings: Gollumwere all received very poorly - in fact,Gollum’s studio, Daedalic Entertainment, willno longer be utilising its internal development division going forward, and its plans for another unknown Lord of the Rings game have now been cancelled....

PC gamers continue to be treated like greedy Tudor princes, having their faces stuffed full of all the free games they can eat. Okay, that’s quite a garbled metaphor, but it is Monday so cut me some slack. If you’ve got aPCand aSteamaccount then you’ll know there’s currently an embarrassment offree gamesto choose from. Sure they might not all be thebiggest names, but I’m not one to turn down a free game....
It’s genuinely hard to keep up with all the free games and downloads available on Steam at the moment… not that we’re complaining, mind you.PCgamers are being spoilt rotten withfree gamesof late, with tons of new offerings big and small raining down from the digital sky. While the vast majorityhaven’t exactly been the biggest names, free is free. Plus, it gives us a chance to check out games we might normally never have looked twice at....

As of late, we’ve been seeing a lot of freebies appear on the Steam store for PC, whether it be free-to-play games, full releases with a 100% discount or even those via early access beta. Either way, we’re happy to claim somefree gaming goodness. “Plan, Build…Prosper? As mayor, it’s up to you to breathe life back into this rundown town....

Rumours are never far away when fans are eager to see what the next big video game release is from a popular studio and Naughty Dog is no exception. Before creating the likes of the critically acclaimedUnchartedandThe Last of Usseries, Naughty Dog shot to fame bringing us the iconic OG PS1 platformer from 1996,Crash Bandicoot, before working onJak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacyfor PS2 in 2001. Some will argue that Naughty Dog perhaps never reached the heights of critical acclaim until theUncharted: Drake’s Fortunesequel,Uncharted 2: Among Thievesarrived for PS3 in 2007....
Can you believe thatThe Last of Usis now officially 10 years old? How time flies when you’re having fun or, in this case, I should probably say fighting for your life in a post-apocalyptic Infected-ridden urban jungle. Naughty Dog’s 2013 release is known for being a narrative powerhouse. It’s safely among my favourite stories of all time, across any entertainment format. I do wonder though if some players overlook some of the game’s best content....
